Dengan teknologi FR mempermudah proses <em>boarding<\/em> dan mengurangi antrean, terutama saat periode ramai seperti libur Natal 2024 dan Tahun Baru 2025,&#8221; kata Manajer Humas PT KAI Divre I Sumatera Utara Anwar Solikhin di Medan, dikutip Sabtu (28\/12\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Penerapan <em>face recognition<\/em> merupakan salah satu komitmen PT KAI dalam mendukung pencapaian <em>Sustainable Development Goals<\/em> (SDGs) dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi ramah lingkungan dalam berbagai operasional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah penerapan sistem <em>face recognition<\/em> (FR) yang menggantikan tiket fisik berbahan kertas untuk proses <em>boarding<\/em>, sehingga dapat mengurangi limbah kertas dan mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Bagi masyarakat yang tertarik melakukan registrasi layanan <em>face recognition<\/em>, bisa juga mendaftar melalui aplikasi Access by KAI,&#8221; katanya. Dengan adanya <em>face recognitio<\/em>n, penumpang cukup melakukan pemindaian wajah di <em>gate boarding<\/em>. Jika identitas diri, data tiket dan syarat lainnya telah sesuai maka secara otomatis pintu <em>boarding<\/em> akan terbuka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anwar menjelaskan masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir dengan keamanan data pada fitur <em>face recognition<\/em> yang dipergunakan oleh KAI karena sudah mengimplementasikan sistem manajemen keamanan Informasi berstandar internasional ISO 27001 tentang Standardisasi Manajemen Keamanan Informasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Data nama, NIK dan foto penumpang akan disimpan pada infrastruktur KAI dan hanya dipergunakan untuk proses boarding menggunakan <em>face recognition boarding gate<\/em>. Data tersebut akan disimpan dalam waktu satu tahun, setelah itu akan dihapus otomatis secara sistem,&#8221; kata Anwar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ia menjelaskan penumpang juga bisa mengajukan penghapusan data dirinya sewaktu-waktu setelah melakukan registrasi melalui aplikasi Access by KAI atau dengan mengajukan penghapusan data kepada KAI melalui petugas <em>Customer Service<\/em> di stasiun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Melalui inovasi ini, harapannya KAI tidak hanya memudahkan perjalanan pelanggan, tetapi juga turut serta mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui pengurangan limbah kertas yang sejalan dengan target SDGs,&#8221; tutupnya.
