Kini, sistem tersebut sudah tersedia di 22 stasiun dan akan diperluas ke stasiun lain di seluruh Indonesia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vice President Public Relations KAI Anne Purba mengatakan, teknologi <em>face recognition<\/em> memungkinkan penumpang naik kereta tanpa perlu menunjukkan tiket fisik, <em>e-boarding pass<\/em>, atau e-KTP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTeknologi <em>face recognition boarding gate<\/em> mengimplementasikan teknologi digital saat pelanggan melakukan boarding,\u201d kata Anne melalui keterangannya, dikutip Minggu (24\/8\/2025). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sistem ini dilengkapi kamera yang mengidentifikasi dan memvalidasi wajah penumpang dengan data tiket yang sudah terintegrasi sehingga proses <em>boarding<\/em> menjadi lebih cepat dan praktis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anne menambahkan, teknologi ini juga ramah lingkungan karena teknologi <em>boarding face recognition<\/em> menghemat penggunaan rol kertas. Data KAI menunjukkan, pada periode Januari\u2013Juli 2025, perusahaan berhasil menghemat 16.295 rol kertas untuk cetak tiket fisik. Nilai efisiensi tersebut setara dengan Rp230 juta. &#8220;Ini selaras dengan prinsip keberlanjutan yang berdampak langsung terhadap pelestarian lingkungan,\u201d kata Anne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejak pertama kali diterapkan, lebih dari 16.398.343 pelanggan telah memanfaatkan layanan boarding wajah ini. Total penghematan yang dicatat KAI mencapai 40.296 rol kertas, senilai lebih dari Rp599 juta, dan diperkirakan terus bertambah seiring dengan ekspansi ke stasiun lainnya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anne menjelaskan, penggunaan <em>face recognition<\/em> merupakan bagian dari transformasi digital KAI. Selain itu, perusahaan juga mengembangkan aplikasi Access by KAI untuk mempermudah pemesanan tiket serta integrasi perjalanan antarmoda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKAI yang sekarang sudah berbeda dengan KAI yang dulu. Belajar dari pengalaman Covid-19, KAI mempercepat digitalisasi dengan menghadirkan e-boarding pass, memungkinkan penumpang langsung menuju peron tanpa perlu mencetak tiket fisik,\u201d jelasnya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ke depan, KAI menargetkan layanan digital yang semakin terintegrasi, sehingga penumpang dapat menikmati perjalanan dari titik awal hingga tujuan akhir secara<em> seamless<\/em> atau tanpa hambatan. \u201cInisiatif ini sejalan dengan visi KAI untuk menggerakkan transportasi berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat,\u201d kata Anne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menurut Anne, ekspansi <em>face recognition<\/em> ke lebih banyak stasiun bukan hanya memudahkan penumpang, tetapi juga menjadi langkah nyata KAI dalam menciptakan transportasi publik yang modern, efisien, dan ramah lingkungan.
