Menurutnya, <em>face recognition<\/em> mempermudah dan mempercepat proses <em>boarding<\/em>, serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap efisiensi operasional serta aspek keberlanjutan lingkungan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c&#8217;Face recognition&#8217; memungkinkan pelanggan melakukan <em>boarding<\/em> tanpa tiket fisik dan tidak perlu repot menunjukkan identitas,&#8221; ujar Anne dalam keterangan resmi, Selasa (6\/1\/2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kelancaran perjalanan, inovasi itu juga mendukung komitmen KAI terhadap keberlanjutan karena mengurangi penggunaan kertas yang bahan bakunya berasal dari pohon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dari penggunaan <em>face recognition<\/em> oleh 748.855 pelanggan setara dengan penghematan sekitar 1.872 roll kertas tiket dengan efisiensi biaya pembelian kertas sekitar Rp27,6 juta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Penghematan ini sekaligus berkontribusi pada pengurangan konsumsi sumber daya alam dan limbah kertas, sejalan dengan prinsip keberlanjutan yang terus diperkuat KAI,&#8221; jelas Anne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KAI mencatat lima stasiun dengan jumlah pengguna <em>face recognition<\/em> tertinggi selama Natal dan Tahun Baru 2025\/2026, meliputi Gambir 145.025 pelanggan; Yogyakarta: (91.064); Pasarsenen (68.303); Semarang Tawang (51.805); dan Purwokerto 43.485 pelanggan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saat ini, fasilitas <em>face recognition<\/em> telah tersedia di 22 stasiun, yakni Bandung, Bekasi, Cirebon, Cirebon Prujakan, Gambir, Jember, Kiaracondong, Kutoarjo, Lempuyangan. Selanjutnya di Medan, Malang, Madiun, Pekalongan, Pasarsenen, Purwokerto, Surabaya Pasar Turi, Surabaya Gubeng, Solo Balapan, Semarang Poncol, Semarang Tawang, Tegal dan Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ia menambahkan sepanjang masa angkutan libur akhir tahun, KAI melayani 4.179.095 pelanggan, tumbuh 12,02% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya. Kinerja operasional tetap terjaga dengan tingkat ketepatan waktu (<em>on time performance<\/em>\/OTP) keberangkatan mencapai 99,68% dan ketepatan waktu kedatangan 96,13%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;KAI akan terus meningkatkan layanan digital dan operasional secara berkelanjutan agar perjalanan kereta api semakin andal, aman, nyaman dan ramah lingkungan,\u201d tututp Anne.
