Penegasan ini disampaikan Menteri Keuangan Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ia beralasan, rasio utang terhadap produk domestik bruto (PDB) hanya berada di level 40,75% atau jauh di bawah batas maksimal 60% sesuai Undang-Undang Keuangan Negara. \u201cMasih aman, masih sekitar 40% lebih sedikit,\u201d kata Purbaya dalam media briefing di Kementerian Keuangan pada Senin (11\/5\/2026). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ia membandingkan rasio utang Indonesia dengan sejumlah negara lain yang dinilai jauh lebih tinggi, termasuk negara-negara di kawasan Asia maupun negara maju. \u201cSingapura 180%, Malaysia 60% lebih, Thailand juga tinggi. Kita termasuk paling hati-hati dibanding negara-negara sekeliling kita. Dibanding AS juga, dibanding Jepang,\u201d katanya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Purbaya menilai pengelolaan utang pemerintah selama ini dilakukan secara hati-hati dan terukur. Karena itu, ia menyayangkan masih banyak pihak yang hanya menyoroti sisi negatif kenaikan nominal utang tanpa melihat indikator rasio dan kapasitas fiskal pemerintah. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHarusnya Anda puji-puji kita. Cuma enggak pernah kan? Kenapa Anda lihat dari sisi negatif terus?\u201d ujarnya. Berdasarkan laporan Direktorat Jenderal Pengelolaan Pembiayaan dan Risiko (DJPPR), mayoritas utang pemerintah masih berasal dari instrumen surat berharga negara (SBN). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nilai outstanding SBN per akhir Maret 2026 tercatat sebesar Rp8.652,89 triliun atau sekitar 87,22% dari total utang pemerintah. Sementara sisanya berupa pinjaman sebesar Rp1.267,52 triliun atau 12,78%. Sehingga total utang pemerintah per akhir Maret 2026 mencapai Rp9.920,42 triliun, naik Rp282,52 triliun dibanding posisi akhir Desember 2025 sebesar Rp9.637,90 triliun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pemerintah sebelumnya menegaskan strategi pembiayaan utang tetap diarahkan untuk menjaga kesinambungan fiskal, memperluas basis investor, dan mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap pembiayaan luar negeri berbasis dollar AS.
